Our Parish Leadership

Our Ministry is served, in terms of clergy, primarily by the Brothers of the Order of St. Michael the Archangel.  The Order is recently formed, and has a broad ranging ministry well beyond the work we do here in Indiana.  Please click on “About the Order” in order to learn more.  Our goal however, is to see all Christians develop and lead in our ministry.  The Priory Staff is listed below.

Father Tom Tirman OSM, Rector

Fr. Tom was ordained in 1989 and has served parishes in Florida, Ohio, and Indiana, all but one of those years as a Rector (a priest in charge of a parish Church).  He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Religion from Butler University in 1984,  a Master of Divinity degree from Virginia Theological Seminary (Episcopal) in 1989, and a doctoral degree in Parish Revitalization from McCormick Seminary in Chicago in 1997.  A life-long member of the Anglican Church, Tom was born, raised, and even ordained in the Episcopal Church before its actions led him to prayerfully and faithfully disassociate himself from it.  In January of 2007 he was the founding pastor of this ministry, St. Michael the Archangel Anglican Church.

Tom is helping to plant and form new congregations all across the country reaching out to the un-churched and providing disaffected orthodox Episcopalians with viable options for remaining in full Communion within Anglicanism.

Tom is married to Amanda, who is also a life-long Anglican. Tom’s daughter Stephanie is 20 and a Sophomore at Lindenwood University in St. Charles, Missouri.  His son Scott is 18, a college student, and the musician at St. Patrick’s in Noblesville while finishing college.  Tom and Amanda also have another son, Benjamin Scott, who turned 4 this summer!!
