The Brothers of our Order - Professed Brothers
The Reverend Father Tom Tirman OSM, Abbot/Superior
Father Tom was ordained a priest in 1990, and he has served the Church in many different capacities, yet always as a parish priest. In 2007, after serving in the Episcopal Church for 18 years, he retired in order to become the founding pastor of St. Michael the Archangel Anglican Church, then under the Right Reverend Francis Lyons, the Bishop of Bolivia. Since that time, as conservative Anglicanism has grown, he has served as a priest in Bolivia, CANA, and most recently as a Network Leader in the Anglican Mission before becoming the Superior of the OSM in the Diocese of the Great Lakes in the Anglican Church of North America.
Father Tom has a heart for planting churches, and a desire and call to help others do the same. His call also includes nurturing churches, troubleshooting in congregations, coaching, and helping others to develop their ministries.
He was made Abbot and took his life vows in October of 2011.
